Job Description

As a Lead Business Manager in the Agri SME space, your role involves leading a team of Area Business Managers and Relationship Managers to acquire New-To-Bank (NTB) customers in the assigned geography. You will be responsible for the Profit and Loss (P&L) of the business unit. Your key responsibilities include: - Demonstrating a strong understanding of Trade, Forex, and working capital products. - Focusing on enhancing granularity and coverage by expanding the client base and driving risk-calibrated operating profit. - Utilizing your knowledge of the respective geography to recruit high-quality team members efficiently. - Building a robust customer base to increase product penetration and revenue generation by delivering high standards of service consistently. - Establishing strong connections and engagement with key clients and promoters. - Driving cross-selling of liability and third-party products to newly onboarded customers. - Collaborating with internal bank channels and external sources such as Direct Marketing Agents (DMAs), Chartered Accountants (CAs), and financial consultants to expand the customer base. - Developing a network and channels in various business segments through associations and industry bodies. - Enhancing efficiency by monitoring processes and suggesting improvements based on market trends. - Continuously reviewing accounts to ensure alignment with business budgets. - Ensuring portfolio hygiene by preventing delinquencies, managing deferrals, and ensuring timely closures and security creation. - Monitoring team performance and providing positive motivation to achieve desired results.
