Red Hat Automation & Platform Architect

Role

• Design and implement

  automation architectures

  using

  Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform

  , including playbook development, orchestration, and integration with ITSM and CI/CD tools.
• Architect and deploy

  Red Hat OpenShift

  ,

  RHEL

  , and

  middleware components

  (AMQ, Fuse, 3scale API Management, etc.) across hybrid or multicloud environments.
• Lead development teams in

  automation-based solution design

  , configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of Red Hat platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, translate business needs into scalable solutions, and ensure architectural integrity and compliance.
• Implement

  DevOps practices

  including pipeline automation, configuration management, and containerized deployments using Kubernetes.
• Support

  managed services

  on Red Hat environments including performance monitoring, patching, compliance, and optimization.
• Drive operational excellence through automation, documentation, and process standardization.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership to engineering teams across development, operations, and support functions.
• Evaluate and recommend Red Hat ecosystem tools and technologies to improve automation maturity and platform stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 12-18 years of experience in IT infrastructure, automation, or platform engineering roles, with at least 5 years in an architect or lead capacity.
• Red Hat certifications preferred (RHCA, RHCE, or Ansible/ OpenShift Delivery Specialist).
