Job Summary : We are looking for a talented Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Quarkus and Red Hat Fuse to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java, experience with Kafka-based event streaming, RESTful APIs, relational databases, and CI/CD pipelines deployed on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP). This role requires a developer who is passionate about building robust microservices and integration systems in a cloud-native environment. As a Wiring Harness Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing wiring harnesses and related components for vehicles. Your role will involve preparing and reviewing power and ground distribution, communication architecture, and system circuits. You will conceptualize the overall vehicle wiring harness layout pattern and create 3D layouts of wiring harnesses and related components using Unigraphics. Additionally, you will design and develop wiring harness-related molding and sheet metal parts. Your responsibilities will also include preparing and reviewing 2D harness and related component drawings, testing and evaluating wiring harnesses based on various standards, and collaborating as part of cross-functional teams for seamless integration of electrical systems. You will work closely with business partners and guest engineers on a day-to-day basis for task delegation, process control, schedule monitoring, and assignment reviews. Root cause analysis and countermeasure studies of assembly and aftermarket issues will be part of your duties. In terms of technical skills, you should have experience in design and development of vehicle wiring harnesses, a good knowledge of harness child components, and the ability to understand vehicle design specifications and their impact on wiring harness components. Hands-on experience with routing wiring harnesses and preparing system schematics is preferred, along with proficiency in tools like Unigraphics (3D) and Zuken CR5000 (2D). Behaviorally, you are expected to be an effective team player with a proactive attitude, good communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in stakeholder management.
