Job Description

  • Account Reconciliation:

    Perform timely and accurate reconciliations of bank, payment gateway, and
  • other financial accounts to ensure records are consistent and error-free.
  • Data Analysis

    : Leverage advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and assist with reporting.
  • Tally Expertise

    : Maintain and update financial records in Tally ERP, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled appropriately. Transaction Review: Regularly review and investigate discrepancies, providing clear explanations and solutions for any variances in accounts.
  • Reporting

    : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation reports for management review.
  • Collaboration

    : Work closely with other teams, including Finance, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Operations, to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Audit Support:

    Assist in audit preparation by providing necessary reconciled financial data and supporting documentation.
  • Process Improvement:

    Suggest improvements for enhancing reconciliation processes and increasing efficiency through automation or new tools.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced Excel Skills:

    Proficient in Excel with strong knowledge of formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH), pivot tables, macros, and data manipulation techniques.
  • Experience with Tally

    : Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP software, particularly for transactionrecording and reconciliations.
  • Data Analysis:

    Ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to resolve issues.
  • Attention to Detail:

    Strong eye for detail and precision in handling financial data.
  • Accounting Knowledge

    : Basic understanding of accounting principles, preferably with experience in managing reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Problem-Solving Skills

    : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in accounts efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Previous experience in a reconciliation role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of other accounting software is a plus.
