**Job Description:** As a Reconciliation Analyst at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group in Gurugram, India, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the firm and its institutional clients. You will be part of a dynamic team that directly impacts the investment success of various clients, including pension funds, foundations, endowments, and institutional clients. This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to advance your skills within the asset management industry. **Role Overview:** In this role, you will be responsible for the following key activities: - Reconciling various items such as cash, transactions, holdings, futures, derivatives, dividends, and alternative investments. - Investigating reconciliation breaks related to shareholder activities, income discrepancies, corporate actions, failed trades, or derivative breaks. - Utilizing research platforms like Bloomberg or Reuters and navigating custodian websites for extracting cash and holdings reports. - Communicating with custodians, prime brokers, portfolio managers, and key personnel to resolve reconciliation discrepancies. - Assisting auditors by providing accurate and timely data for audits of institutional client accounts. - Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business processes and procedures. - Completing month-end reconciliation of accounts to ensure timely resolution of any discrepancies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Reconcile various items including cash, transactions, holdings, derivatives, dividends, and alternative investments. - Investigate reconciliation breaks and communicate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies. - Utilize research platforms and custodian websites for data extraction. - Assist auditors in providing accurate data for client account audits. - Participate in process improvement initiatives and testing of new projects/services. - Complete month-end reconciliation of accounts and analyze issues as needed. **Qualifications Required:** - Postgraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. - Minimum of 4 years" experience in investment operations and reconciliation. - Strong knowledge of capital markets, derivatives, securities, and corporate actions. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and familiarity with research platforms. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement. - Curiosity for learning and a positive attitude towards operational excellence. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
