Job Title: Admission Counsellor Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 1–3 Years (Preferred in school/college admissions or education counseling) Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and persuasive Admission Counsellor to guide prospective students and parents through the admission process. The ideal candidate should be passionate about education, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong understanding of the academic environment. This role requires both empathy and a results-oriented approach to meet enrollment targets. Key Responsibilities: Handle walk-ins, phone calls, emails, and online inquiries related to admissions. Counsel students and parents regarding school programs, admission criteria, and processes . Follow up with leads, inquiries, and interested parents to ensure conversion of prospects into admissions . Maintain and update the student inquiry database , lead tracker, and follow-up schedules. Conduct campus tours and organize admission open houses, orientations, and other promotional events . Assist in application form verification, documentation, and admission formalities . Coordinate with internal departments for interviews, assessments, and enrollment processes . Achieve monthly/quarterly admission targets and conversion ratios . Collaborate with the marketing team to execute school outreach activities , campaigns, and school promotions. Provide regular reports and feedback to the admissions head or management. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education/Marketing/Psychology preferred). Prior experience in admissions, sales, counselling , or customer service . Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Good interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students and parents. Proficiency in MS Office , Google Sheets , and CRM tools (if any). High level of patience, empathy, and persuasion skills . Ability to work under pressure and meet admission targets. Very good communication skills and English language fluency Preferred Qualifications: Experience in school/college admissions . Knowledge of CBSE/ICSE/IB curriculum and competitive educational landscape.
