R&D Technician Battery Lab (02 yrs)

Full-Time | Battery R&D | Chemistry/Chemical Engineering

Lab Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct electrochemical testing (cycling, capacity, performance) of
pouch & coin cells
.
Prepare electrolytes with accurate formulation, mixing, and measurement.
Assist in fabrication and characterization of
anode and cathode
materials.
Perform
tab welding
for cell assembly with strong precision.
Operate and analyze data using
GC / GCMS
techniques for electrolyte characterization.
Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, troubleshoot operational issues.
Ensure adherence to
SOPs
and safety procedures for chemical handling.
Record experimental data, document procedures, and prepare technical reports.
Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to support active projects.

Candidate Profile:

Qualification:
M.Sc. in Chemistry OR B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
Experience:
2–5 years in battery R&D, electrochemistry, or similar.
Proficiency in battery testing and hands-on experience with
cell assembly tools
.
Familiarity with
electrode preparation
, electrolyte chemistry, and fabrication.
Knowledge of
GC / GCMS
for material analysis is highly desirable.
Detail-oriented with strong
documentation and communication skills
.
Team player with a passion for innovation in
energy storage technologies
.
