The company aims to provide wholesome food options and encourage employees to eat healthily amidst their busy work schedules. About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and innovative R&D Specialist who will focus on developing and refining healthy and nutritious recipes across various product lines β€” including cookies, crackers, cakes, specialty chapatis, and other baked or functional foods. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of nutrition, ingredients, healthy food trends, and baking techniques to help us continuously introduce new varieties and improve existing products. Responsibilities: Research and develop new recipes and products focused on health and nutrition Innovate on varieties of cookies, crackers, cakes, chapatis, and other baked goods Test and improve product taste, texture, shelf life, and nutritional profile Work closely with procurement to source clean label , natural, and premium ingredients Stay updated on food trends in healthy snacking, gluten-free, vegan, high-protein, and functional foods Conduct trials, document formulations, and manage kitchen lab testing Work with the production team to scale recipes from kitchen to commercial batch Collaborate with marketing to support product positioning and story Ensure compliance with FSSAI guidelines and food safety standards Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Nutrition, Hotel Management, Baking Technology, or related field 2+ years of hands-on R&D or product development experience in healthy foods / baking industry Strong understanding of nutritional science, functional ingredients, and alternative flours Experience in developing recipes for cookies, crackers, cakes, breads, chapatis Creative, curious mindset with a passion for continuous experimentation Good understanding of market trends and consumer preferences in the healthy food segment Strong documentation and reporting skills Nice to Have: Experience in vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free, keto, millet-based, or traditional Indian healthy recipes Knowledge of food labeling, shelf-life testing, and clean-label product development Show more Show less
