R&D - Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and integrate electronic systems for personal cooling vests, including sensors, control systems, and power management.
  • Prototype and test circuits to improve energy efficiency, reliability, and safety of cooling technology.
  • Explore and assess emerging technologies in wearable electronics, IoT integration, and thermal sensing.
  • Lead individual R&D projects, including defining scope, managing timelines, and delivering results.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, industrial designers, and external partners on product development.
  • Provide detailed reports and present findings to the leadership team and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety and performance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a highly rated engineering institute.
  • Strong knowledge of circuit design, embedded systems, and power management.
  • Experience with prototyping tools (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms).
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to independently manage R&D projects.
  • Comfortable working in a startup setting with demanding goals and fast iterations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
