R&D Chemist

Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Quality Chemist to join our R&D and Quality Control team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a wide range of analytical instruments and wet chemistry techniques to ensure the quality and compliance of our environmental solutions and manufactured products.Key Responsibilities

• Analytical Testing: Conduct comprehensive chemical analyses on various samples (e.g., water, wastewater, materials) to determine composition, concentration of pollutants, and quality parameters.
• Wet Chemistry Techniques: Perform volumetric analyses, including acid-base titrations and oxidation-reduction titrations (redox titrations).
• Environmental Parameter Analysis: Perform and manage testing for key environmental parameters:
• BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand)
• COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand)
• TSS (Total Suspended Solids)
• MLSS (Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids)
• FRC (Free Residual Chlorine)
• Instrumentation: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of laboratory instruments, including:
• Gas Chromatograph (GC): Minimum 1 year of mandatory hands-on experience.
• Spectrophotometer (UV/VIS)
• pH Meter
• TDS Meter (Total Dissolved Solids)
• Turbidity Meter
• Weigh Balance
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Accurately record, analyze, and interpret data using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all laboratory procedures and documentation meet strict quality standards (e.g., ISO guidelines).

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a Quality Control (QC) or analytical laboratory setting, including at least 1 year of mandatory hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in all mentioned analytical and instrumentation techniques.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel for data analysis and reporting, and PowerPoint for presentations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
