R&D Chemist

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Chemist to join our Research and Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing chemical formulations, conducting experiments and contributing to the innovation of new products. This position requires strong foundation in chemistry, analytical techniques, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand experimental design objectives, conduct experiments timely and report results.
• Assist in researching, conducting experiments, gathering data and developing preliminary findings and preparing written reports for further review. Work is reviewed to ensure that it is accurate, complete and technically sound and feedback is provided to encourage development.
• Continuous improvement of existing product via inputs into raw material and process modifications.
• To work on technology driven projects on the basis of technical literature as a supportive information in addition to in built knowledge.
• Prepare Samples required for field trials and assist in trials.
• Maintain Confidentiality of data/ information.
• Actively participation in process safety management and employee safety program.
• To work on cost reduction of the product, considering all product related possibilities.
• To evaluate new RMs and prepare evaluation report.
• Identify and document hazard associated with Raw Materials, Process, Experimental & Finished Products.
• To maintain projects file as per ISO requirement.
• Actively participate in the pilot scale up activities.
• Adhere to Safety Rules and adopt measure to create Safe and Secure Lab.

Preferred Experience & Qualification:

• Bachelors or masters degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including sample preparation, characterization, and testing.
• Strong analyticalskills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with adhesives, polymers, or emulsions is a plus.
