Assistant Store Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for freshers looking to build a career in inventory management, supply chain operations, or storekeeping. The primary responsibilities will include managing stock arrangements, data entry, and maintaining a well-organized storehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Ensuring the proper listing and orderly arrangement of equipment and supplies in the storehouse, including items like welding rods, valves, flanges, cutting discs, etc.

Data Entry & Record Keeping: Utilizing MS Office (specifically MS Excel) to accurately record the movement of stock (inbound and outbound) within the inventory database.

Organization and Maintenance: Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe storehouse environment at all times.

Stock Verification: Conducting regular physical stock counts and reconciling physical inventory with system data.

Reporting: Assisting the Store Manager in preparing reports related to stock levels, shortages, and inventory status.

Coordination: Coordinating with the production and purchase teams regarding inventory needs and stock availability.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Graduation degree in any field OR an ITI Diploma (in any relevant trade).

Experience: Fresh candidates are welcome to apply; basic knowledge of inventory or storekeeping practices is an advantage.

Skills:

Computer Literacy: Good proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, is mandatory.

Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities and a strong attention to detail.

Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills.

Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
