Role & responsibilities

Job Responsibilities for R&D Chef :- Desired Qualification :-Hotel Management or P.G. Diploma in Microbiology

  • Recipe Development:

Creating new recipes and improving existing ones, considering factors like flavor profiles, ingredient functionality, and nutritional value.

  • Product Testing:

Conducting sensory evaluations, gathering feedback, and iterating on recipes to ensure optimal taste and texture.

  • Ingredient Sourcing:

Evaluating ingredients for quality, cost, and availability to optimize recipes and maintain profitability.

  • Process Optimization:

Collaborating with production teams to streamline culinary processes in manufacturing environments.

  • Trend Analysis:

Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new ingredients to drive innovation.

  • Compliance:

Ensuring that all recipes and products meet food safety and quality standards, as well as relevant regulations.

  • Documentation:

Maintaining detailed records of culinary experiments, including recipes, procedures, and results.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Working with marketing, sales, and other teams to support product launches and presentations.

  • Training:

Training kitchen staff on new recipes and techniques. Skills and Qualifications:

  • Culinary Expertise:

Proven experience in recipe development, food preparation, and flavor profiling.

  • Food Science Knowledge:

Understanding of food chemistry, ingredient functionality, and nutritional value.

  • Sensory Evaluation:

Ability to assess and evaluate food products based on taste, texture, and appearance.

  • Project Management:

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate with various teams and stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving Skills:
