RC-Process and Controls-SOX-Senior Manager

We are looking for a skilled professional with 10 to 15 years of experience to join our team as an Associate Director in the Risk and Compliance domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, internal audit, and compliance. ### Roles and Responsibility Execute client-related engagements in SOX assistance, governance, risk & compliance, process reviews, and standard operating procedures. Manage a team of Managers and Seniors to deliver SOX engagements, including scoping, test of design, test of effectiveness, and reporting. Lead control rationalization and standardization activities for business processes. Plan and schedule client engagements, deploying the right team with adequate skill sets. Review compliance with internal quality & risk management guidelines and package project findings into clear, concise work products. Maintain a strong client focus by effectively serving their needs and developing productive working relationships. Demonstrate subject matter & industry expertise, contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects & internal initiatives, and monitor engagement economics while ensuring timely billing of invoices. Identify buyers, influencers, and stakeholders in existing client engagements and build strong relationships; identify opportunities for cross-selling to current clients/introduce colleagues from other service lines. Assist Partners/Directors in driving the account management agenda by focusing on high-impact opportunities and play an active role in modernizing the SOX agenda via automation and innovation. Create innovative insights for clients, adapt methods & practices to fit operational team needs, and contribute to thought leadership documents; represent the firm in various industry conferences and associations – network with individuals, contribute to key discussion items, and explore business opportunities. Suggest ideas on improving engagement productivity and identify opportunities for improving client service; manage engagement budgets and ensure compliance with engagement plans and internal quality & risk management procedures. Display teamwork, integrity, and leadership, fostering teamwork and innovation; utilize technology & tools to continually learn and innovate, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Understand EY and its service lines, actively encouraging team members to contribute ideas; conduct workshops and technical training sessions for team members, contributing to the learning & development agenda and knowledge harnessing initiatives. Drive campus recruitment initiatives. ### Job Requirements Overall 10 years of experience across "Big 4" or professional firms/industry in risks & controls, with more than 6 years of experience in SOX / internal controls. Strong understanding of SOX and COSO framework. CIA certification is preferred. Strong academic history (degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or similar). Strong multi-project management skills. Skilled at collaborating, motivating, and guiding high-performance teams. Cognitive problem-solving capabilities, quick decision-making skills, and ability to handle complex situations calmly. Exceptional command over spoken and written English. Globally mobile and flexible to travel to onsite locations. Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to think differently and innovate. Responsible for the performance and appraisal of direct reports, including training and developing necessary skill sets to enable them to grow in their careers. Mentor and coach junior team members, enabling them to meet their performance goals and successfully grow their careers.
