The Acquiring and Cards department focuses on the Cards and merchant acquiring business of the bank. The Bank offers a wide range of cards designed for the customers specific needs along with offering PoS services under the Acquiring business vertical within the cards team. The department is also responsible for driving growth in the UPI payments spaceAbout the RoleThe Sales Manager is responsible for driving the sales and the acquisition of credit card customers. The Sales manager is responsible for a variable revenue generation product and is expected to be revenue focused and self- driven. The SM builds and executes on- ground strategies to drive productivity and lower costs and ensures compliance with all norms and proceduresKey ResponsibilitiesResponsible for driving sales through Branches/Open Market/Digital channels to achieve operating plan for Axis Bank CardsResponsible for the achievement of Sales and Fees Volume - New Cards Acquisitions and cross Sell of AccountsResponsible for creating product visibility and awareness in the assigned cluster of branchesConduct branch campaigns / desk activities at the Corporates with Salary Account at the assigned cluster of branchesCollaborate with functions like Risk, Branch Channel, Salary Channels etc to ensure smooth operationsEnsure that all the sales processes meet the statutory and regulatory requirements as well as the internal compliance normsProvide regular market feedback on competitionQualificationsGraduation/ Post- Graduation from a recognized instituteRole ProficienciesGood communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local languageExcellent lead generation and conversion skillAbility to handle pressure and meet deadlinesHigh sales orientation to meet the sales targets consistentlyAbility to manage complex client situationsAbility to coach and mentor othersAbility to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment
