About Acquiring and Cards

The Acquiring and Cards department focuses on the Cards and merchant acquiring business of the bank The Bank offers a wide range of cards designed for the customers specific needs along with offering PoS services under the Acquiring business vertical within the cards team The department is also responsible for driving growth in the UPI payments spaceThe Business Manager is responsible for the sourcing of merchants and for adherence to the KYC policy The Business Manager is also responsible for team management along with focusing on exceeding the targets set out in the KRAsGain knowledge of the products and services offered and educate merchants on the available optionsEnsure On-Boarding of New Merchants onlyEnsure that the merchant on-boarded in system is hand-holded by the sales team for the period of 6 monthsResolve merchant queries from re-training, statement queries, payment queries and any other query raised by the merchant for period of 6 months from the date of installation to activate and retain the merchantEnsure closure of customer requests and complaints within TAT (2 working days)Grow the business by cross-selling the bank s productsManage credits given to inactive and de-installed merchants as per the bank s policyQualificationsAny graduation / Post graduation degree from recognized university0-2 years of experienceRole ProficienciesKnowledge of industry, technology, marketing, and product trends, Acquiring Industry & latest technologiesGood understanding of Credit Cards, Unsecured & Secured Asset product & understanding on Liabilities side of bankingKnowledge of regulatory guidelines and normsGood communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local languageAbility to manage complex client situationsAbility to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environmentAbility to handle pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to coach and mentor others
