Job Title: RIS/PACS Support Engineer Location : Vashi Navi Mumbai CTC: INR 3.6-4.2 LPA We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tech Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking concepts and be proficient in troubleshooting and resolving a variety of technical issues. As a Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure by providing support to our internal and external users. Responsibilities: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to networking, including private networks, IP addresses, public and private networks, firewalls, and DNS problems. Install, configure, and maintain software applications and network devices. Provide technical support to users experiencing issues with Windows operating systems and other software applications. Troubleshoot and resolve firewall and security-related issues to ensure the safety and integrity of the network. Set up, manage, and troubleshoot NAS (Network Attached Storage) devices for centralized file storage and access. Configure and maintain FTP (File Transfer Protocol) servers to enable secure and efficient data transfer. Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvements. Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and resolve complex technical problems. Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles to assist users and IT staff. Provide on-call support as needed to address critical issues outside of regular business hours. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong understanding of networking concepts, including private and public networks, IP addressing, and network protocols. Experience with troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including firewall configurations, DNS problems, and connectivity issues. Proficiency in installing and configuring software applications and operating systems, particularly Windows. Hands-on experience with NAS systems and FTP server configuration and support. Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist users and collaborate with team members. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments. Comfortable with Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems. Comfortable to speak Hindi and English. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in networking or related fields (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA). Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud computing. Knowledge of security best practices and experience with security tools.
