Description
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end monthly closing activities, which includes processing prepaids, accruals, and daily accounting entries accurately. Additionally, you will prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Conducting P&L variance analysis, overseeing and reconciling bank accounts, performing credit card reconciliations, and acting as a key point of contact for external audits will also be part of your key responsibilities. You will need to record foreign exchange transactions accurately, execute inter-entity cost allocations, and manage inter-company accounting for assets. Your knowledge and attributes should include a strong attention to detail, good verbal and written communication skills, good planning and organizing abilities, and prior exposure to international entities, foreign currency, and inter-company transactions. You should have a strong knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 36, IAS 38, proficiency in financial software and ERP systems like SAP and BPC, and the ability to deal with individuals at all levels in the organization. Being deadline driven, solution-oriented, proactive, and having the ability to think ahead in a fast-paced environment are also important attributes.
