Quotation Specialist

Role Overview: As a Quotation Support Engineer at ABB, you will play a crucial role in supporting the assigned Sales organization and customers during the proposal process. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a key technical resource, preparing technical descriptions of products and technology, determining costs, and finalizing documentation. This role is based onsite in Bangalore and is a 1 Year Fixed Term Contract with ABB. Key Responsibilities: - Offer technical advice and solutions on inquiries related to ABB IEC LV Motors products/systems/applications from customers, channels, and Sales Specialists. - Conduct analytic and diagnostic studies to identify the best technical solutions for customer needs and address complex inquiries. - Develop new sales opportunities, resolve customer problems, and ensure the achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS). - Ensure the attainment of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, for all assigned product groups and countries. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as an electrical engineer with a background in either quotation support or motor experience. - Strong analytical skills and knowledge of tools like Sales Force, Power Bi, and motors. - Desired skills include organization, target orientation, and customer focus. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
