Quantity Surveyor

As a Quantity Surveyor at Worley, you will be an integral part of our team, collaborating to deliver projects for our clients while honing your skills and experience. With a focus on contract management expertise, you will be responsible for various activities related to contracting, procurement, and supply chain management in alignment with the Project Execution Plan (PEP). Your role will involve managing the entire procurement process for engineering construction works, from pre-award to post-award stages. Your primary duties will include providing contract management and quantity surveying expertise for assigned projects. In the pre-contract phase, you will handle activities such as preparing Non-Disclosure/Confidentiality Agreements, soliciting Expressions of Interest (EOI), prequalifying potential contractors, issuing Requests for Proposal (RFP), and conducting evaluations. You will also be involved in post-contract activities, including managing correspondence, maintaining registers, ensuring contract compliance, and facilitating Contractor progress meetings. To excel in this role, you are expected to possess a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or a relevant field, along with at least two years of relevant working experience. Strong communication skills, proficiency in software tools, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment are essential. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of contractual risk, contract law, and industry-standard forms of contract. Collaboration and communication are key aspects of this role, requiring you to maintain good relationships with various stakeholders, project team members, subcontractors, and customers. Your ability to work independently, meet customer needs, negotiate effectively, and manage relationships will be crucial for success in this position.
