Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Estimating & Costing:

    • Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ)
    • Estimate project costs and monitor budgets
    • Track material, labour, and equipment costs
  2. Tendering & Contracts:

    • Assist in preparing tender documents
    • Analyse contractors' bids and advise on contract awarding
    • Handle contractual claims and variations
  3. Site & Project Monitoring:

    • Verify contractor bills and ensure work matches BOQ
    • Conduct site measurements
    • Maintain cost control during construction
  4. Reporting & Documentation:

    • Maintain records of costs, payments, and progress
    • Report to project managers, engineers, and clients
  5. Valuation & Payments:

    • Conducts interim valuations.
    • Certifies contractor payments and final accounts.

  • Proficiency in

    Auto CAD

    MS Excel

  • Familiarity with

    standard codes

    like IS codes, CPWD, PWD, or FIDIC
  • Understanding of

    construction drawings

    and specifications
