About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor & Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a background in Civil Engineering (Degree or Diploma) with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in interior work. This role requires strong analytical skills, a sound understanding of construction drawings, and the ability to prepare accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and comparative statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Take off quantities and prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
• Conduct rate analysis and prepare item-wise rate breakdowns
• Prepare and evaluate quotations, and prepare comparative cost statements
• Follow up with vendors and suppliers for quotations
• Ensure timely and accurate cost estimation of projects
• Maintain cost records and assist in budgeting
• Use AutoCAD for extracting quantities and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) for documentation and analysis

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 4 to 8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Estimation
• Proficient in interpreting architectural and structural drawings
• Familiarity with interior work and fit-outs is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project estimates
