Job Description

Job Summary:

Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare
detailed quantity take-offs
from drawings and specifications.
Conduct
rate analysis
for civil, finishing, structural, and MEP works.
Prepare
BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents
for various projects.
Evaluate and verify
contractor bills, variations, and claims.
Prepare and update
project cost reports
and assist in project budgeting.
Analyze material and labor requirements to determine cost efficiency.
Liaise with the project and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Assist in
value engineering
and cost control measures.
Maintain records of all
project cost data, drawings, and documentation.
Provide inputs during
tender evaluation and negotiation
processes.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in
AutoCAD, MS Excel
Strong knowledge of
rate analysis
for civil and finishing works.
Excellent
numerical and analytical
skills.
Good understanding of
construction drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in
high-rise residential.
Exposure to
contract management and cost control.
Knowledge of
local market rates
and material sourcing.
