Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in cost estimation, rate analysis, and quantity take-offs for high-rise building projects. Your strong analytical skills and knowledge of construction materials and methods will be essential in preparing accurate cost reports and Bills of Quantities (BOQs). Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications. - Conduct rate analysis for civil, finishing, structural, and MEP works. - Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents for various projects. - Evaluate and verify contractor bills, variations, and claims. - Prepare and update project cost reports and assist in project budgeting. - Analyze material and labor requirements to determine cost efficiency. - Liaise with the project and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective solutions. - Assist in value engineering and cost control measures. - Maintain records of all project cost data, drawings, and documentation. - Provide inputs during tender evaluation and negotiation processes. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar). - Strong knowledge of rate analysis for civil and finishing works. - Excellent numerical and analytical skills. - Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications. - Strong communication and coordination abilities. - Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.
