About the Role: We are looking for a qualified Quantity Surveyor with a background in Civil Engineering to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for calculating accurate material quantities and estimating project costs using architectural drawings and prevailing market rates. Key Responsibilities: Study architectural and structural drawings in detail Accurately calculate quantities of materials required for civil works (RCC, masonry, plastering, finishing, etc.) Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material requirement sheets Estimate project-wise costs using current market rates Coordinate with vendors/suppliers to validate price assumptions Provide cost input during planning and budgeting stages of each project Collaborate with the Architecture and Civil teams for real-time updates and clarification Assist in cost tracking during construction for internal reporting Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory) 1–3 years of relevant experience in the construction or real estate industry Strong understanding of quantity take-off techniques and cost estimation practices Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings Familiarity with Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools/software Attention to detail, clarity in communication, and ability to work cross-functionally Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in redevelopment or residential real estate projects Prior exposure to vendor pricing and procurement coordination Show more Show less
