Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing a Quality Assurance or Quality Control team. Being responsible for the overall quality of products released by the company
Monitoring the production line and doing periodic Quality Control checks
Implementing improvements to production processes that lead to overall increases in product quality
Working together with project leaders to discuss solutions to quality issues
Satisfying customer expectations about the products quality
Complying various projects depending on different relevant ISO certifications of the company
Process validation and re-validation (all processes)
Special process, operator, equipment qualification / re-qualification
Manufacturing process audits
Process Audits, Product audits
Layout inspection and functional testing - as applicable
Customer complaint handling and resolution
Initiating CAPA on internal rejections and rework / poor yield, investigating for root cause and propose solutions
On-the-job training of Inspectors
Qualification and skill enhancement of inspectors
Providing and displaying one-point lessons
Stop shipment and Stop production, if any issues wrt requirements
Release of products for delivery

QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

B.Tech/ BE in ECE/EEE/Mech. with min. 3-5 years experience in relevant field
Proven ability of initiating changes to improve quality aspects within Company
Electro-Mechanical product testing, reading specs and schematics

PREFERRED SKILLS

Self-motivator and attitude for continuous improvement
Good analyzing skills, Eye-to-detail, Thoroughness, Quality control, Quality Assurance
Managing a team, Leadership
