Job Description

Role/Designation: Manager / Senior Manager Coding

Competency & Knowledge Requirements :

Strong domain expertise and process knowledge in RCM for Hospital Facility and Physician coding.
In-depth knowledge of specialties in Home Health.
Thorough understanding of Human Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Diagnostic Studies, Conservative & Surgical Treatments.
Ability to interpret Operative Reports and other clinical documentation with accuracy.
Awareness of compliance risks: up-coding, down-coding, fraud/abuse, inflated documentation, HIPAA and CLIA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 100+ Quality Analysts (QAs).
Build an inspiring team environment fostering open communication and collaboration.
Plan QA capacity based on project requirements.
Delegate tasks, set clear deadlines, and monitor progress.
Drive quality control in line with client SLAs.
Ensure effective implementation of the Quality Management System.
Monitor team performance and report metrics regularly.
Conduct random audits of auditors and perform RCA on audit observations.
Identify knowledge gaps, design action plans, and collaborate with quality leads & operations managers for closure.
Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to QAs.
Address team concerns, resolve conflicts, and maintain a healthy work environment.
Recognize and reward high performance.
Encourage innovation, process improvements, and team-building initiatives.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
