Job Description

Title - Quality Assurance Manager

WFO - Monday to Saturday

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance operations within the organization to ensure that products and services meet consistent standards of quality and compliance. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, leading quality audits, managing QA teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry regulations and company objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team to ensure high performance and adherence to quality standards.
  • Plan and conduct regular quality audits and inspections across production, processes, and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues.
  • Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee the handling of non-conformances, customer complaints, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, FDA, Six Sigma).
  • Manage quality documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and certification bodies for quality certifications and compliance.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on quality performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in quality assurance or quality control management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, GMP, etc.).
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and auditing processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with quality tools and software.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
