Quality Inspector

Key Responsibilities: Inspecting and Testing: Performing visual and measurement inspections of materials and products. Using various tools like calipers, gauges, and micrometers. Conducting tests to ensure products meet specifications. Operating electronic inspection equipment and software. Identifying Defects: Identifying defects and non-conformances in materials and products. Determining the root causes of defects. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of inspections and test results. Preparing reports on quality issues and recommending corrective actions. Documenting inspection results in quality databases. Process Improvement: Analyzing inspection data to identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process. Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process. Working with production teams to implement quality control measures. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulations, and company policies. Following safety and health procedures. Other Duties: Reading blueprints and specifications. Communicating with other departments, such as production and engineering, to resolve quality issues. Maintaining and calibrating inspection equipment.
