Job Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure that all incoming, in-process, and finished components meet the companys quality standards and customer specifications through inspection, testing, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect raw materials and components received from suppliers and verify supplier inspection reports.
Perform first-piece, in-process, and last-piece inspections on production parts.
Conduct final inspection before dispatch to ensure parts meet customer standards.
Maintain inspection records, rejection reports, and daily inspection logs.
Use and maintain measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
Ensure calibration status of all gauges before use.
Communicate inspection results to production and quality team.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for rejections and complaints.
Follow all company quality systems and 5S standards.

Skills & Competencies Required:

Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods.
Understanding of drawings, tolerances, and GD&T.
Attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.

Who can FIT in to this role:

Male/Female candidate having 1-3 years experience in Quality inspection in a manufacturing (CNC, VMC & Conventional machining)
Candidate should reside within 15 Kms of Raga Engineers with self conveyance, GPS location:
Bachelors degree / Diploma in mechanical /ITI
