Roles & Responsibilities Draft 2D/3D drawings for fittings, manifolds, hoses, tubings, quick connectors, NRVs, filters, copper tubing, and heat exchangers Develop modular connection assemblies with minimum interchangeable child parts across product families (Vacuum Systems, Jet Cooling, Monitoring Systems, PBDD) Support P&ID drafting, routing diagrams, and layouts for new product development Validate the feasibility of fittings and manifolds with vendors and suppliers Maintain a library of standardized parts and ensure proper documentation Research and support transition towards plastic/hybrid manifolds and connectors for cost and weight reduction Required Skills SolidWorks Routing (Pipe & Tube), AutoCAD Knowledge of P&ID drafting and fluid dynamics basics Familiarity with industrial fittings, manifolds, and connectors Understanding of pressure, leakage, and chemical resistance requirements Qualifications & Experience Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering 2-4 years of experience in piping/tubing/manifold design KPIsAccuracy and quality of connection drawings Reduction of unique fitting/manifold parts Feasibility and manufacturability of new designs Contribution towards plastic/hybrid connections
Key Responsibilities: SPM Machine Installation & Commissioning: Lead the installation and commissioning of Special Purpose Machines (SPM) integrated with PLC programming and HMI design across multiple locations. PLC Programming & HMI Design: Program PLCs (Mitsubishi, Delta, Siemens, Allen Bradley) and design HMI screens, focusing on graphical representation and data logging. Global Service Support: Provide international on-site support. Should possess a valid Indian passport and be comfortable traveling abroad for installations and service. Process Automation & Industry 4.0: Work with Industry 4.0 equipment, including IO-Link Masters and Sensors (pressure, flow, temperature), ensuring seamless integration and automation of processes. Client Interaction & Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams in fluent English, ensuring smooth service and installation experiences. Service Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed service reports using Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, or Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Provide a comprehensive analysis of service jobs. Electrical/Control Panel Wiring: Conduct and supervise electrical and control panel wiring as per project requirements. Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Perform CAPA (Corrective Action and Preventive Action) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to troubleshoot technical issues. Technical Drawings & Process Understanding: Interpret electrical drawings and process flow diagrams, and understand mechanical construction for successful installations. Adapting to Harsh Environments: Comfortable working in tough industrial environments, showing flexibility and problem-solving abilities under pressure. Required Qualifications: Education:B. Tech in Electronics Instrumentation/Communication/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Experience: 2-4 years in SPM machine installation, PLC programming, and HMI design. Certifications: Certified in PLC programming (Mitsubishi, Delta, Siemens, Allen Bradley). Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office. Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies. Role & responsibilities Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) based on requirements and process needs. Create concept layouts, detailed mechanical designs, and assembly drawings. Perform component selection including motors, gearboxes, linear guides, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics, and sensors. Conduct cycle time calculations, force calculations, and tolerance stack-ups. Prepare BOMs, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and part drawings. Coordinate with SPM makers to ensure SPM as per design. Support machine debugging, trials, and commissioning at the shop floor. Ensure designs comply with safety standards, quality requirements, and cost targets. Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical support for existing machines and design modifications.
