Quality Inspection - Coimbatore and Pune Location

Key Responsibilities

·      This involves reviewing technical documentation, including engineering drawings and manuals, to understand product specifications and requirements.

Perform required inspections, tests or measurements of materials, products and check whether specifications are met.

o  This task includes conducting inspections and tests on materials and finished products to ensure they meet the defined specifications and quality standards.

Preparation of Inspection plan based on the ballooned drawing or OE sample.

o  Creating an inspection plan involves using ballooned drawings (drawings where critical dimensions and features are marked) or Original Equipment (OE) samples to guide the inspection process.

Compile inspection and test reports and upload in the dashboard.

o  This entails documenting the results of inspections and tests and uploading these reports into a management system or dashboard for tracking and review.

Determine the cause of problems or defects at supplier end and follow-up with supplier for CAR.

o  When defects or issues are found, identifying the root cause at the supplier's end and working with the supplier to implement Corrective Action Requests (CAR) to prevent recurrence.

Conducting mentor meeting with supplier and prepare the action plan and follow-up or actions implementation

o  Holding meetings with suppliers to mentor them on quality improvement, preparing action plans to address issues, and following up to ensure these actions are implemented effectively.

Notify quality manager and TLs of quality problems at supplier end.

·      Communicating any quality issues identified at the supplier’s end to the quality manager and team leaders to ensure they are aware and can take appropriate action

Required Qualifications-

BE / Diploma – Mechanical engineering

Experience : 2 to 4 years in inspection

Experience:

·      Minimum 2 years’ experience Quality Control

·      Knowledge of working in ERP software

·      Knowledge in ISO 9001: 2015 quality systems, and auditing.

Skills:

·       Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

·       Excellent verbal and written communication

·       Organized and able to meet deadlines
