Job Description – Quality Head (Tubemill / ERW / Pipe Industry)

Location: Bhachau, Gujarat
Department: Quality – Mettalics Division
Experience: Minimum 15 Years
Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech in Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering
Salary Range: ₹15–20 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire Quality Department operations for the Metallurgy / Tubemill Division.
• Develop and implement Quality Assurance Systems, SOPs, and Standards.
• Ensure compliance with CRW / Galvanization / CDW / Plunge / ERW Pipe Industry processes.
• Maintain product quality as per ISO / BIS / Customer Specifications.
• Supervise in-process, final inspection, and quality audit activities.
• Coordinate with Production and Maintenance departments to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce rejections.
• Monitor testing labs, calibration, and documentation.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and performance evaluation of the quality team.

Skills Required:

• In-depth knowledge of Metallurgy, Tubemill / ERW Pipe Manufacturing Processes.
• Hands-on experience in Mechanical Testing, NDT, and Metallurgical Analysis.
• Proficiency in Quality Tools – 5S, Kaizen, 7QC, SPC, and TPM.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in managing ISO / BIS / Customer Audits and compliance requirements
