Quality Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for guiding the implementation of hospitals quality and patient safety program.
• Responsible for maintaining quality standards by initiating the hospital quality assurance programs; reviewing quality control and assurance programs; generating reports and maintaining records.
• Driving and coordination of hospital accreditations.
• Evaluating the need for quality improvement on an ongoing basis and identify opportunities to improve patient care and safety.
• To review policies and procedures relating to each function and make necessary revision and to advise changes in accreditation standards and maintaining compliances where necessary.
• To initiate and advice on hospital-wide and departmental quality improvement initiatives. Performing the assessments and analysis of Operational Processes.
• Involvement in in-house training programs pertaining to quality improvement.
• To monitor and maintain the adherence to the standards laid by various departments in coordination with the respective Hods.
• Responsible to collect, validate and analyze the results/trends of these quality indicators for probable improvement of any service.
• Internal auditing of various hospital services on various quality standards.
• Responsible for identifying bottlenecks in processes, developing standard operating procedures to make the processes error-free and formulating policies in coordination with the respective department head/consultant.
• Ensure the implementation of the policies and SOPs and monitor the same on a continuous basis.
• To conduct internal quality audits as per the frequency decided and to communicate quality and patient safety issues regularly throughout the hospital.

• To take up any other quality initiative as decided by the management.
