Job Description

As a Quality Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing and implementing quality control measures, conducting advanced testing and analysis, and driving continuous improvement in product quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality standards, resolve complex quality issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver medium-high complexity testing tasks as part of a team. - Influence in collaborative meetings with peers and stakeholders. - Interact with stakeholders to create requirements and demonstrate work. - Document testing and outcomes. - Follow established software product engineering practices related to testing. - Work under moderate supervision with access to assistance for work assignments not covered through established guidelines. - Acquire solid knowledge and develop specialized skills. - Establish individual priorities when supporting projects and/or processes. - Perform other assigned job-related duties that align with the organization's vision, mission, and values and fall within your scope of practice. **Qualifications:** - Education: Bachelors Degree or relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Quantitative, or Engineering Field. - Experience: 1+ years of relevant or practical experience. **Special Skills:** - Testing Concepts (multiple tools/methodologies) - Integrates automated testing with Version Control, DevOps & CICD - Technical Writing and Diagramming - Analysis (Technical, Business, or Data) **Soft Skills:** - Communication: Influencing collaborative meetings and interacting with stakeholders. - Problem-solving: Resolving complex quality issues and implementing solutions. - Leadership: Mentoring junior quality engineers. - Time Management: Managing multiple testing tasks and meeting deadlines. - Analytical Thinking: Analyzing advanced quality metrics and performance test results. In this role, you will also be responsible for: - Developing and implementing test plans, cases, and scripts based on software requirements and specifications. - Performing manual testing to identify defects and ensure software functionality. - Developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using defect tracking tools like Gitlab or ALM. - Conducting performance, load, and stress testing to ensure software scalability and reliability. - Integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and rapid feedback. - Collecting and analyzing quality metrics to assess software quality and testing effectiveness. - Setting up and maintaining test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations. - Ensuring software testing processes comply with industry standards and best practices. - Coordinating and supporting user acceptance testing with end-users to ensure the software meets their needs and expectations. - Creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, cases, and scripts. - Providing training and support to team members on testing tools, processes, and best practices.
