Quality Engineer II

Role Overview: You will be working as a Quality Engineer II at Aeries Technology, focused on testing billing system APIs for Constant Contact's Global Technology Center (GTC) in Bangalore. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and executing detailed test plans and strategies, both manually and automated, to ensure high-quality deliverables for billing APIs. You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and scrum teams to understand API requirements and address any issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and execute detailed test plans and strategies for billing system APIs. - Develop and perform functional, regression, and performance tests for billing APIs. - Conduct manual and automated testing of RESTful APIs. - Create, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for APIs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Reproduce, isolate, and debug API issues efficiently. Qualification Required: - Strong experience in API testing, both manual and automated. - Proficiency in designing test strategies and automation frameworks. - Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and API testing tools. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
