Job Title:

Quality Engineer – Data (SQL & Manual Testing)

Work Location:

Client Location, Mumbai (Fort and Belapur)

Mode of Interview:

Face to Face (Mandatory)We are seeking a skilled

SQL and Manual Tester

with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for validating business logic, ensuring data integrity, and performing end-to-end testing of applications. The role requires strong SQL expertise to handle complex queries, along with the ability to execute functional and regression testing effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual testing of applications including UI, backend processes, and data validation.
  • Write and execute complex SQL queries across multiple databases to validate large datasets.
  • Perform end-to-end, integration, regression, and system testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using standard test management tools.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings.
  • Support UAT activities and assist in troubleshooting production issues.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong expertise in SQL (complex queries, joins, data validation).
  • Hands-on experience in Manual Testing (functional, regression, and integration).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and defect management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience

  • Total Experience: 2–3 years
  • Relevant Experience in SQL and Manual Testing: 2+ years
