Quality Controller (QC)

Job Summary

The QC Engineer / Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring that all

construction and interior works are executed in accordance with approved

drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety norms. The role involves

inspecting materials, workmanship, and processes at site to maintain high-quality

project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

● Inspect and monitor construction/interior works at site to ensure

compliance with approved drawings and specifications

● Conduct quality checks for civil, finishing, and interior works

● Ensure materials received at site meet quality standards and approvals

● Maintain and update quality inspection reports, checklists, and

documentation
Identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities and coordinate with site

teams for rectification

● Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and

vendors

● Assist in preparing method statements and quality plans

● Ensure adherence to ISO standards, safety norms, and company quality

policies

● Monitor workmanship to ensure timely completion without compromising

quality

Skills & Competencies

● Strong knowledge of construction/interior quality standards

● Understanding of drawings, BOQs, and specifications

● Good eye for detail and problem-solving skills

● Ability to prepare and maintain quality documentation

● Strong communication and coordination skills

● Knowledge of testing procedures and material specifications

Qualifications

● Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant field

● Freshers or candidates with 1–5 years of experience in QC/Quality Control

● Experience in construction/interior projects preferred

Tools & Software (Preferred)

● MS Excel, MS Word

● Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (optional)

● Quality inspection and reporting tools

Work Environment

● Site-based role

● May require travel across project locations

● Working in coordination with multiple teams and contractors
