QUALITY CONTROL

Position: Quality Controller
Department: Production / Quality
Location: Bakrol, Ahmedabad

Role Purpose:

To check and ensure that all PVC edge band products meet company quality standards before, during, and after production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect raw materials before production and report any defects.
• Monitor production quality at each stage (mixing, extrusion, printing, cutting, packing).
• Check product size, thickness, color, gloss, and finish as per standards.
• Conduct quality tests such as flexibility, strength, and adhesion.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality reports.
• Identify defects and immediately inform the production team.
• Ensure rejected products are separated and marked properly.
• Follow quality control procedures and update checklists.
• Assist in solving quality issues and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure machines, tools, and measuring instruments are used properly and kept clean.
• Ensure packaging quality before dispatch.
• Follow safety and hygiene rules inside the factory.

Skills Required:

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of using measuring tools (vernier, micrometer, color shade card).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good observation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain reports and checklists.

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum 12th pass or Diploma.
• Experience in PVC edge band or plastic extrusion industry preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
