Yamaha Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (YMI) is a 100% subsidiary of YMC and serves as the regional headquarters and corporate control body of India business operations for YMC. YMI is responsible for Corporate Planning & Strategy, Business Planning & Business Expansion, and Quality & Compliance Assurance of Yamaha India Business.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quality Control Manager at YAMAHA MOTOR INDIA PVT. LTD. The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes, conducting quality control inspections, developing quality assurance policies and procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality. This role is located in Chennai with the option for some work from home.

Qualifications

Quality Assurance and Quality Control skills
Experience in developing quality assurance policies and procedures
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Previous experience in a similar role in the automotive industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
