Job Description

· Material Inspection:

o Conduct visual and physical inspection of incoming raw materials as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).

o Verify supplier documentation, including Certificate of Analysis (CoA), invoices, and delivery notes.

· Raw Material Sampling:

o Perform sampling of RMs in compliance with GMP/GHP protocols and relevant safety norms.

o Label and analysing/testing samples of RM and ensuring the product approval/ rejection on time.

· Vehicle Inspection:

o Inspect transport vehicles for cleanliness, contamination, and compliance with safety and hygiene standards before unloading RMs.

o Document vehicle inspection reports and escalate non-compliances.

· Sorting and Segregation:

o Collaborate with the sorting team to segregate, sort, and identify defective or damaged raw materials. Provide quality trainings and standards to the sorting team.

o Maintain sorting reports and ensure proper documentation of rejections.

o Coordinate with the purchase department for replacement or return of defective RMs.

· Raw Material Storage:

o Ensure approved RMs are stored in designated areas under proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, segregation, etc.).

o Maintain and ensure proper identification status (Approved, Rejected, and Hold).

· Issuance to Production:

o Ensure only quality-approved RMs are issued to the production department.

o Maintain records of issued RMs, batch numbers, and quantities.

· Documentation & Record Keeping:

o Maintain accurate records of inspections, sampling, approvals, rejections, and issuance.

o Prepare daily reports and escalate quality issues to seniors in a timely manner.

· Compliance & Audits:

o Ensure compliance with internal quality systems, regulatory guidelines (like ISO, FSSAI, GMP), and customer-specific requirements.

o Participate in internal and external audits and support audit documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology- B.tech/B.Sc. in Food Technology

· 2–4 year of experience in QC, preferably in food or FMCG industries.

· Knowledge of quality standards, GMP, and HACCP is a plus.

Key Skills:

· Attention to detail and strong observational skills.

· Knowledge of quality inspection and sampling techniques.

· Good communication and reporting skills.

· Proficient in MS Office and quality documentation.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹36,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
