Job Description

Role & r

1. Coordinating with Reporting Head and follow up daily assigned activities based on Project schedules and technical documents & drawings.

2. Read and comprehend technical drawings and specifications for machined components, Pressure Vessel & parts.

3. Conduct detailed inspections of Pressure Vessels, accessories to verify compliance with Codes, Quality standards, BOMs and Drawings.

4. Utilize precision instruments such as vernier calipers, bore gauges, and micrometers for accurate measurements, and ensure compliance.

5. Inspect purchased components to ensure they meet specified quality requirements

6. Maintain comprehensive documentation of inspection processes, results, and any deviations observed.

7. Generate detailed reports on the quality status of both machined and bought components, when assigned.

8. Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to comprehend design specifications.

9. Collaborate with engineering teams to address any discrepancies between drawings and actual components.

10. Conduct thorough inspections at various stages, including sheet cutting layout, in-process inspections, final inspections, and receiving inspections,

11. Maintain and update crucial documentation such as job traveler, filler rod register, weld history, and records of electropolishing and passivation on a daily basisutilizing diverse mechanical inspection techniques

12. Work in shifts , as assigned by reporting head, to achieve the quality requirements and inspection.

13. Arrange and oversee radiography processes, including follow-ups, film interpretation, review of reports, and execute Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT)

14. Conduct inspections related to vessels with vendors, ensuring compliance with specified standards and requirements

15. Conducting borescope inspections and check for defects or irregularities.

16. Prepare stage reports, material charts, weld seam logs, and hydro test reports, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of project progress.

17. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of piping materials upon receipt to verify conformance with specifications.

18. Perform visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections of welded joints to ensure integrity and compliance with welding procedures.

19. Verify fit-up and alignment of piping & vessel prior to welding to prevent issues during fabrication and installation.

20. Monitor dimensional accuracy of piping assemblies & vessels and verify adherence to tolerances specified in engineering drawings.

21. Coordinate and oversee hydrostatic testing of systems to validate integrity and detect leaks.

22. Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, test results, and non-conformities identified during inspections.

23. Identify and report non-conformities, deviations, or discrepancies and work with relevant parties to implement corrective actions.

24. Conduct supplier audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality requirements and specifications.

25. Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and installation teams to address quality-related issues and ensure timely resolution

26. Conduct final inspections of completed systems to verify compliance with project requirements and facilitate client acceptance.
