Quality Control Auditor

Responsibilities: - Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely project milestone completion within the new product introduction process - Perform site visits of potential new suppliers to verify compliance with Rakindus standards - Execute tasks in the organization's Product Lifecycle Management software - Develop a deep understanding of garment construction requirements for application during development and sample review - Review development samples on site with suppliers to ensure accuracy before delivery to the US office - Conduct product quality audits at Rakindus suppliers following the ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 inspection standard - Develop and adjust inspection protocols for onsite auditing - Identify and implement corrective action plans with suppliers to resolve quality issues found during inspections - Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documents related to inspections for data and results capture Qualifications: - Extensive experience and strong knowledge in Textile and Apparel Quality Control - Familiarity with AQL and inspection methods for apparel, textiles, and footwear - Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience combination - Minimum of 4 years of experience in product development - Experience working with a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system Skills and Abilities: - Proficiency in product development, production planning, manufacturing, and supply chain optimization techniques for apparel and decoration - Capable of identifying issues before escalation, problem-solving efficiently, collaborating, and implementing solutions - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Working Environment and Physical Demands: - Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, up to 60% Please note: This is a Managerial role that necessitates in-depth industry knowledge and experience.
