Quality Assurance Tester

The Quality Assurance Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring software products meet the highest standards of quality, usability, and performance before release to users. By detecting defects early and collaborating closely with development teams, you contribute significantly to the organization's commitment to delivering reliable and user-friendly applications. Your responsibilities include developing, documenting, and executing detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans. You will perform manual and automated testing across various platforms and browsers, identifying, logging, and tracking bugs using defect tracking systems like Jira or Bugzilla. Collaborating with developers, product managers, and designers is essential to understanding requirements and ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Participation in Agile/Scrum activities such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups is expected, along with conducting regression testing post-bug fixes and system updates. Your role involves ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards, comply with business and technical requirements, and providing feedback for product improvements based on test results and user perspective. Maintaining and updating test documentation as systems and features evolve is also part of your responsibilities. As a qualified candidate, you should have proven experience as a QA Tester, QA Engineer, or similar role in software development. A strong grasp of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes is essential, along with familiarity with Agile development environments and continuous integration practices. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Postman, or TestNG would be advantageous. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills for clear bug reporting and documentation. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment is key. A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, and certification in Quality Assurance or Testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is considered an advantage.,
