Quality Assurance Technologist

As a Technical Operations Specialist working under the Manager of QA & Technology, you will be responsible for all technical aspects of time material design. Your key responsibilities include: - Material Cost Reduction - Coordination with YRC for compound development and RM localization - Achieving targets for Scrap and NG batches with the support of rubber tech and seniors in the plant - Development of local vendors for raw materials and rectification of raw material abnormalities internally and handling vendor complaints - Managing all aspects related to Material Technology, in-process material scrap, and problems In addition, you will be responsible for: - Controlling mixing recipes and compounding calculations for quality and processing consistency - Following up on compound processability at the Extruding & Calendering process and troubleshooting quality issues or defects - Conducting Why - Why and 4M analysis for process abnormalities in Extruding, Calendering, and stock preparation areas (Steelastic & Bead & Cutting) - Conducting trials for raw material development and process improvement - Implementing activities for in-process scrap reduction - Monitoring customer sections for compound & component related problems and making compound changes for better productivity and quality - Addressing tire defects related to rubber compounding and material processability - Controlling material judgment data and taking necessary actions for data consistency This role requires a strong technical background and experience in material design and production processes. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in ensuring the quality and efficiency of technical operations.,
