Quality Assurance Specialist

You will be involved in each project from the grass-root level, right from concept preparation, proto testing, supplier development, product life testing, batch plan discipline, and delivery of finished goods to the customer. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the products meet customer and internal technical and quality requirements. It will be crucial for you to achieve product quality objectives with the project team, monitor defined and agreed objectives, and report project status to your superior. You will also monitor day-to-day project progress status to ensure first-time-right quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying lesson learn opportunities and ensuring that best practices from previous projects are implemented. Participation in FMEA reviews, sharing lessons learned from similar projects, and ensuring customer requirements are met throughout the project will be essential. You will also be accountable for product verification, validation, and regulation, as well as escalating NPD process non-compliance issues and following up for their closure. Validating daily product life/torque/theft/SST test status, informing the team of any deviations, validating corrective and preventive actions taken on the field and assembly line, and analyzing field failures and customer complaints for improvement will be part of your role. Utilizing product and process knowledge to build PFMEA, planning process audits, FGWH audits, Dock audits, FAIR approval as per project needs, conducting SPC and MSA as required, planning daily development inspection activities, preparing monthly development quality MRM data, and monitoring development internal customer PPM, FI PPM, Supplier PPM will also fall under your responsibilities. To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in NPD quality and hold a qualification in B.E/B.Tech/DME in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, you should possess thorough knowledge of various manufacturing processes like sheet metal stamping, high-pressure die casting, assembly processes, plastic molding, and various surface finishing processes. Hands-on experience with PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA is required, while ISO 9001:2016 auditor and Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification will be advantageous. Excellent CFT coordination skills and the ability to resolve CFT conflicts in a timely manner are also necessary. If you meet the above criteria, please apply.
