Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our QA team at our Dewas plant. The ideal candidate will have a background in Food Technology and relevant experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in wheat flour milling.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in the production facility.
• Conduct routine sampling and quality checks for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, and ISO 22000 standards.
• Participate in internal and external audits, customer inspections, and regulatory reviews.
• Document and report deviations, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Train plant staff on hygiene practices, GMPs, and food safety protocols.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and lab teams to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role in the food industry (experience in a wheat flour plant preferred).
• Knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP, FSSAI, GMP, and ISO 22000.
• Experience handling audit processes (internal, regulatory, or third-party).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic QA documentation systems.

Preferred Certifications

• HACCP Certification, ISO 22000/Internal Auditor Certification

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
