Description
As an individual in Quality Assurance, Monitoring & Testing, you are responsible for assessing outcomes from activities and processes to ensure conformance with applicable requirements. This involves strengthening risk management quality through quality testing for business function quality control and transformation lead quality control post the completion of an activity or process. You will be involved in the development and execution of Monitoring and Testing for controls, including control design assessment, operational effectiveness, monitoring & testing tools design assessment, and execution of monitoring/testing tools to evaluate the effectiveness of key controls addressing defined risks. **Responsibilities:** - Accountable for managing and overseeing a team of employees - Manages, plans, and conducts a broad range of deliverables for projects - Executes strategic design and process improvement projects across the enterprise - Leads cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment between solutions and business objectives through effective communication - Supports the assessment of activities and processes as per required Policies, Standards, and Procedures to strengthen risk management quality - Conducts routine testing of internal activities and processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards and identify areas of risk or non-compliance - Reviews stakeholder/client feedback and responds to any quality assurance complaints or issues promptly - Supports quality testing for business function quality control and transformation lead quality control post the completion of an activity/process - Develops and executes Monitoring and Testing for controls, including control design assessment and design of operational effectiveness for monitoring & testing tools, monitoring/testing design assessment, and execution of monitoring/testing tools - Supports reporting on quality control outcomes and control effectiveness to top management and relevant stakeholders - Stays up to date with the latest quality assurance testing tools and strategies - Has a good understanding of the Citi Risk & control framework and the underlying fundamentals on Risk Management - Helps teams involved in the end-to-end monitoring of controls as defined in Risk Management policy - Participates in the review and challenge process on the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks as required by the Control Standards - Supports to ensure that risk and control responsibilities and accountabilities are embedded within Central Testing Utility - Involves in Control & Monitoring Design Assessment (CMDA) meetings and provides help in drafting the procedures - Identifies any monitoring breaks and suggests enhancements - Assesses risk appropriately when making business decisions, with a focus on safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets - Effectively supervises the activity of teams and creates accountability with those who fail to maintain standards **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry - Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls - Strong knowledge in the development and execution of controls - Proven experience in control-related functions in the financial industry - Proven experience in implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes - Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices - Understanding of Citi's Policies, Standards, and Procedures - Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage at the senior management level - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity, review Accessibility at Citi.
