Quality Assurance Lead

As a QA Lead at the company, you will play a crucial role in leading the QA function across projects, from test planning to release sign-off. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the QA function across projects, defining and implementing QA processes to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency. - Creating comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business and UX requirements. - Conducting and overseeing manual, automation, functional, regression, performance, and usability testing. - Implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. - Collaborating closely with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure early detection and resolution of defects. - Tracking and reporting key quality metrics, identifying risk areas, and proposing preventive measures. - Mentoring and upskilling QA engineers, promoting best practices and continuous learning. - Ensuring that every release aligns with the UX quality benchmarks the company is known for. Qualifications and Key Skills required for this role: - 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role. - Strong expertise in manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications. - Experience in UI/UX validation, cross-browser and cross-device testing. - Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) and automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). - Understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and CI/CD integration. - Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Strong eye for detail ensuring that even the smallest UI interactions meet UX expectations. - Experience in system architecture, APIs, and microservices handling large concurrent transactions. - Hands-on experience in performance tuning, scalability, and fault-tolerant architecture. - Proficient in one or more modern tech stacks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or C++). - Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Experience in performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) or security testing basics. - Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure). - Knowledge of accessibility testing standards and tools. - ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.,
