As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of large-scale, big data, custom hardware, multi-platform software products, including web, API, and mobile application interfaces. You will work in a collaborative, continuous integration environment, focusing on developing automated Functional Integration tests and end-to-end tests using open-source test frameworks within an Agile setting. Your key responsibilities will include: - Testing complex API, web, and mobile-based applications that interact with database back-end systems. - Creating and maintaining automated test cases, executing test suites, reviewing and diagnosing reported bugs, and ensuring overall system quality prior to customer release. - Designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated test suites through continuous integration for valuable feedback. - Collaborating with engineering teams to determine testing requirements throughout the development cycle. - Reproducing, debugging, and isolating problems, as well as verifying fixes. - Working closely with software developers to generate software artifacts such as test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports. - Collaborating across functional areas with internal partner engineering teams in a disciplined agile environment. - Estimating your own testing tasks and working productively with minimal supervision while demonstrating an excellent team attitude. Qualifications required for this role are: - B.E/B.Tech degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably in a Team Lead role. - Proficiency in developing code in Java/Python. - Strong experience in API testing, particularly from RESTful services. - Proficiency with JSON, Databases, and SQL. - Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and/or mobile devices. - Experience with Test processes, open source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests with frameworks like JUnit/TestNG, Selenium, JMeter, and Appium is preferred. - Familiarity with Jenkins or other continuous integration systems, as well as tools such as JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Git, and Artifactory/Maven. - Detail-oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with a passion for quality and test automation. - Strong collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills. - Experience in leading ambiguous situations, resolving technical issues, and finding effective solutions to ensure customer project deliverables. - Previous experience with requirements, defects, functional, and performance management systems.
